**Educational Assistant**

**Location**:**Glendale Sciences and Technology School**

15 hours weekly

The successful applicant will provide support to students in grades K-8.

**Desirable qualifications and attributes**:

- Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent education is an asset
- Experience or training in supporting children with diverse and complex needs or behaviours is preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to creating a positive learning environment Experience supporting students on the autism spectrum is an asset.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable assisting students with personal care needs, including toileting and lifting as required
