**Educational Assistant**

**Location**:**Mountview**Elementary**

**15 hours weekly (mornings)**

The successful applicant will provide support to students in grades K-5.

**Desirable qualifications and attributes**:

- Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education
- Ability to build upon and facilitate positive relationships through valued attachments
- Ability to support inclusive education opportunities for students in a variety of grades
- Experience with Complex Special Educational Needs and Autism is considered an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
- Ability to work with paraprofessionals such as speech pathologist, occupational therapists and school based learning team Experience supporting Deaf or hard of hearing individuals is an asset
