**Background**

The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Owner of the company and is on the warehouse floor to lead their team and ensure the products are properly picked, packed, and shipped. The supervisor works as a coach and mentor to their team. To succeed in this position, the supervisor must be capable of planning the workload, motivating their team, and offering great customer service.

**Performance Responsibilities**
- Receiving of all designated customers
- Participate in training and mentoring
- Training on the BrightHR App for clock in and clock out
- Conduct crew talks and assist in preparing warehouse SOP’s
- Ensure all Pick & pack orders and designated customer orders are completed on time and are accurately prepared
- Review the daily workload to best utilize your team’s performance
- Ensure all packages are brought to the dock and are ready for daily pick up
- Communicate with the dock supervisor on completion times to ensure all orders are prepared in time for pick up
- Ensure all Blueleaf Delivery orders are prioritized to the manifest
- Ensure all outbound orders you are responsible are checked for accuracy, properly secured, and packing slips, MSDS sheets, BOL’s and any other necessary paperwork is prepared
- Ensure all instructions on the orders are completed as indicated
- Maintain and optimize inventory stock levels and identify obsolete and/or surplus stock
- Ensuring that pick slots are optimized and ready for picking and all empty pallets are removed and returned to the dock and all loose wrap is placed in garbage
- Ensure there are no stray pallets or boxes of product laying around the warehouse and are properly put away if so.
- Demonstrate commitment to an injury-free environment through own actions and mentoring others
- Participate in developing monthly team KPI’s to drive accountability and accuracy
- Communicate goals, objectives, strategies, results, and plans
- Ensure all packing supplies are stocked in the appropriate holding area and that stations are always kept well stocked for the following day
- Ensure all packaging materials are available and inventory is maintained.
- Maintain and ensure the warehouse aisle and packing stations are clear of clutter and ready for the following shift and that paperwork is returned to the office.
- Communicate where necessary to your designated customers (see attached)
- Co-ordinates activities with other departments
- Supervise warehouse personnel in warehouse and ensure productivity is met and maintained while accurately, efficiently, and safely picking and assembling customer orders
- Prepare weekly productivity for review and follow-up if necessary
- Observe and direct employees accordingly Supervise your subordinates
- When necessary and in conjunction with human resources, follow-up with your subordinates with verbal, written and further discipline up to and including termination.
- Conducts spot inventory counts
- Champion the company safety policies to ensure all employees operate in a safe work environment

**Requirements**:

- Minimum one year warehouse experience and be familiar with order picking process
- Bending, lifting, reaching during course of shift
- Forklift certification required
- First Aid (preferred)
- Previous experience with WHMIS and other safety systems
- Minimum 5 years in a warehouse environment
- Experience working with 3rd party logistics
- Excellent communication skills in English are required to read, write, and communicate

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
