Warehouse Supervisor

**Shipping and Receiving Supervisor**

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the well-organized and smooth preparation, documentation, and handling of incoming and outgoing parts and materials. You will supervise a team of one shipper and one receiver. Efficient distribution flow is vital to the effective operations of the warehouse and is achieved by understanding and following proper governing regulations and documentation requirements for all shipping, including the US or other international destinations while preserving the quality of Raute mechanical equipment and parts.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise the proper routing, loading, and preparation of orders for shipment, delivery, and pick up in accordance with customer instructions,
- Monitor all inbound and outbound freight and respond to delivery confirmation enquiries,
- Complete shipping documentation requirements (ex. Bill of Lading, Customs Invoice, permits & declarations), including with packages being shipped, and verification of delivery,
- Receiving and inspecting inventory replenishment shipments, confirming vendor supplied components for customers' orders, and report any inventory discrepancies, including shortages and damage,
- Arrangement of appropriate delivery method for shipments (courier vs. trucking),
- Ensure all material is received and stored in a safe and economical manner while ensuring all proper paperwork is completed,
- Packaging and preparing customer products and crates as required for safe shipping,
- Optimize warehouse space and streamline procedural efficiencies,
- Organized filing and management of all shipping/receiving paperwork and documentation for both incoming and outgoing shipments,
- Oversee Shipping & Receiving invoice approvals and investigate and respond to invoicing enquiries & discrepancies,
- Manage all freight and courier claims to ensure prompt filing and return,
- Oversee, unload, and unload products from trucks or other conveyances,
- Operate a forklift as required,
- Manage and maintain inventory quantities, reports, and records, including annual physical inventory count to ensure optimal productivity levels,
- Actively promote safe working practices, follow good warehouse practices, and participate in continuous improvement,
- Supervise, coach and mentor employees to be able to host annual performance reviews,
- Keep a safe and clean work environment by complying with policies, procedures, and regulations,
- Continual update of technical knowledge through education workshops and reviewing updated shipping publications.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Valid forklift operating certificate (WSBC) required,
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a warehouse environment,
- Experience working MRP or ERP system an asset,
- Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and D365,
- Must meet all Health and Safety standards and lift a minimum of 20kg,
- Must possess a valid passport and driver’s license.

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- MRP or ERP: 4 years (preferred)
- warehouse: 4 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
