Tapestry is an active aging community for independent adults. At Tapestry, residents live healthy, engaged, purposeful and socially connected lives and experience personalized, resident-centric service. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, this role provides housekeeping services to help keep our active aging community immaculate and lovely, and to help ensure we are delivering an exceptional resident experience aligned to our Mission. _**We have fulltime and regular part time shifts available**_

**Responsibilities & Qualifications**:

- At least one (1) year of housekeeping or janitorial experience, with comfort and experience and disinfecting common amenity and public community areas following prescribed work procedures
- This role handles a variety of cleaning duties, which may also include cleaning resident rooms, laundering linens and assisting with a variety of janitorial duties throughout the community
- You must be CPR & AED certified
- Experience working in a community setting or hotel environment is preferred
- You are an effective communicator, positive team player and flexible multi-tasker with a commitment to deliver extraordinary service to our residents

**During the COVID-19 pandemic, Tapestry has taken a number of significant measures to protect the health of our residents and employees, including active screening upon entry to the community. Only those individuals who are free of cold and flu symptoms, and fully immunized against COVID-19, are able to work in the community.**

**Single Site Order (SSO)**:
Under the Provincial Single Site Order (SSO), Tapestry employees may only work at another assisted living, long-term care or mental health facility that is located within the “Urban Cluster” (Richmond, Vancouver, the North Shore and Squamish) as defined by the BC Ministry of Health. Tapestry employees are required to disclose secondary employment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $19.97 per hour
