**Job description**

Working Housekeeping Supervisor Reporting to the Executive Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Executive Housekeeper. As a Working Housekeeping Supervisor you will serve as an ambassador for the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, you must be a multi-functional individual who is to be a team player and driven to exceed our guest’s expectations. Provide supervision fulltime in the summer, on slower times fill in as supervisor when required for vacations and other coverages, closing and opening of the department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Executive Housekeeper and the Assistant Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping team in the opening and closing housekeeping.
- Inspects and ensures all rooms have been assigned and serviced each day.
- Train new employees on IHG Way of Clean and ensuring all Brand standards are being adhered to
- Assign daily tasks to room attendants and housepersons and follow up on their work.
- Inspecting rooms on a daily basis.
- Assist with inventory, and ordering
- Approach guests and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Communicate with other departments.
- Other duties may apply

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum 1-year supervisory experience in a hotel industry preferred
- Self-motivated, responsible, organized and task oriented
- Be a team player
- Have excellent communication skills
- Possesses an eye for detail
- Maintains a flexible schedule to accommodate operational needs of a hotel

**Availability**:

- 8 hours
- Weekdays
- Weekends required
- Mornings
- Afternoons
- Holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: $22.50-$25.99 per hour
