About the Role
The Head of Marketing at Keela plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic direction and ensuring its brand presence thrives in the highly competitive nonprofit software market. This role involves crafting and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to generate leads, drive brand awareness, optimize customer acquisition, and support revenue growth.
The Head of Marketing collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with Keela's product development, sales, and customer success efforts. This leadership position involves overseeing a talented team of marketing professionals, guiding their efforts in areas such as digital marketing, content creation, social media management, and event planning. Ultimately, the Head of Marketing at Keela is entrusted with the responsibility of driving Keela's success by effectively communicating the value of its nonprofit management solutions to the target audience and ensuring a strong market presence.

**Responsibilities**:
**General Responsibilities**- Lead the development and execution of annual marketing strategies and efforts to generate new business leads.
- Oversee the management and performance of the marketing team by providing support, guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
- Oversee reporting and tracking of all marketing metrics.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget.
- Keep informed of marketing strategies and trends.
- Be an active participant of Keela’s management team including attending meetings, voicing opinions, and ensuring personal and team accountability.**Lead Generation**- Develop and implement a comprehensive lead generation strategy to drive qualified leads for the sales team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define target audience segments and create buyer personas.
- Utilize data-driven approaches and market research to identify potential lead sources and opportunities.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality, engaging content to attract and capture leads at various stages of the customer journey.
- Monitor and analyze lead generation performance metrics and KPIs, adjusting strategies as needed to meet lead generation goals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads and continuously improve lead-to-customer conversion rates.
- Establish and maintain clear documentation and reporting processes for lead generation activities.
- Identify and address bottlenecks and challenges in the lead generation funnel to optimize lead flow.
- Continuously evaluate and test new lead generation techniques, tools, and platforms to enhance performance.**Brand Awareness**- Develop and execute a comprehensive brand awareness strategy to enhance the company's visibility and reputation in the market.
- Define and communicate the brand's unique value proposition, messaging, and positioning to target audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
- Implement and manage brand awareness campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, events, and PR.
- Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics to measure the impact of awareness campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to increase brand exposure.
