**Company Description**
Royal Vancouver Yacht Club (RVYC) is one of the world's premier yacht clubs and one of the finest in Vancouver. Our mission is to promote yachting, seamanship, and fellowship among current members and those who share our values of tradition, sportsmanship, and community service, among many others. Our philosophy at RVYC is to provide excellent Member & Guest services in all that we do.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Greeting Members & Guests professionally and seating them
- Taking, confirming orders, and relaying to the kitchen or bar staff
- Serving Food & Alcohol
- Bussing, cleaning, and resetting tables.
- Answering phone calls, placing to-go orders, and taking reservations.
- Preparing bill, processing payments and reconciling transactions
- Assisting kitchen with plating or garnishing
- Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping, washing glasses and dishes.
- Additional duties as required.
**Requirements & Qualifications**:
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly and able to build relationships with our members and staff.
- Positive, team player who is able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality an asset
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
