**Contract Exterior Repair Specialist (Siding - Soffit - Fascia - Eavestrough - Shingle Repair)**

**Important Information**

This interview is designed to test **your ability to follow basic instructions** and **communicate clearly in English** — the #1 skill required for this role.
- **This is not an entry-level position.**:
- **No on-the-job training** will be provided.
- You will work **independently** with your own **truck, tools, and equipment.**

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Perform repairs and installations of **siding, soffit, fascia, eavestrough, and roof shingles**:
- Assess site conditions, identify required repairs, and complete work to company standards
- Coordinate with our internal team to ensure quality and schedule alignment
- Maintain safe, clean work zones and remove debris after each job
- Document completed work (before/after photos, sign-off forms)
- Communicate proactively about material needs, delays, or changes
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Proven experience in **residential exterior repair and renovation**:
- Proficient working at heights (ladders, scaffolding, roofs)
- Must own **all required tools, PPE, and transportation**:
- **Valid driver’s licence** and reliable truck or work vehicle
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage small jobs start-to-finish
- Excellent **English communication** and professionalism with clients and team members
**Minimum Contractor Requirements**
To be considered, applicants **must meet or exceed** the following criteria:
- **Legal**: Legally entitled to work in Canada
- **Business**: Operate as an independent contractor (able to invoice Fort Sask Reno)
- **Insurance**: WCB Alberta coverage **and** minimum $2M liability insurance
- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years in exterior construction
- **Training**: WHMIS, Fall Protection, and First Aid certifications (preferred)
- **Tools & Vehicle**: Must supply your own truck, ladders, tools, and PPE
- **Documentation**: Provide WCB clearance, proof of insurance, and valid driver’s licence
- **Conduct**: Must be reliable, safety-minded, self-directed, and professional
**Contract Terms & Pay**
- **Pay**: $50.00 - $60.00/hour (4-hour minimum call-out)
- **Invoicing**: Contractors invoice upon completion of agreed work
- **Payment Terms**: Prompt payment for verified completed jobs
- **Contract Duration**: Year-round with potential for renewal
- **Work Type**: In person (residential job sites)
