We are currently seeking Foreman/ Woman/ Lead Carpenters for a full-time permanent position to join our team

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Demonstrate and maintain the proper safety procedures as set out in the OH&S and company safety manuals to the crew
- Layout, install, or remove temporary structures and fixtures, including scaffolding, ladders and railings, formwork, and hoardings
- Perform layout, select materials and perform takeoffs, plan sequences and methods of work and materials to avoid costly mistakes, supervise workers to ensure quality
- Working with various tools and equipment, lifting, pulling, or pushing, carrying and manipulating objects up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and supervisors, including instructing and motivating carpenters, apprentices and laborers.
- Must be able to work in a multi-trade environment
- Must have a commitment to safety and be able to adhere to safety policies and procedures, and be a safety leader and good example to other employees

**Qualifications**:

- Licensed Alberta Journey person, Red Seal Certificate is an asset
- Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial construction
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and Vehicle
- Current and applicable safety training certificates is an asset
- Leadership for Safety Excellence, Supervisor training program, and other leadership oriented training courses recomended
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and motivate other workers
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Able to organize and assigned tasks for completion and hold target deadlines while maintaining quality
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Must display a positive attitude and emotional intelligence
- Leadership skills to lead other employees and maintain a healthy and stable crew atmosphere
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities
- May be required to complete a criminal record check to work on some projects
