**Analyst - Microbiology # 1158**

We currently, we have an opening for a **Analyst I - Microbiology**, to join our Microbiology Team. Reporting to the Senior Analyst Microbiology/Team Lead, the Analyst-Microbiology will be responsible for the following:

- Routine testing of client supplied samples in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Generation, interpretation and management of analytical data.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of analytical instruments

**Primary responsibilities of the job**:

- Prepare media and cultures
- Perform daily balance verification
- Operates and maintains equipment in microbiology laboratory
- Performs daily, weekly and monthly verification
- Weigh samples
- Perform sample processing in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Maintain records of raw data in lab notebook
- Record final data in database
- SOP review and update
- Maintaining the microbiology lab in clean and working order
- Adhere to regulatory guidelines, including GMP and ISO17025.
- Maintaining a safe, organized and efficient analytical laboratory space.
- The employee shall implement the Laboratory Quality Policy and perform their duties in accordance to existing project specific requirements, current Test Methods, study plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Compliance to Health & Safety policies and procedures and wear required Personal Protective equipment at all times
- Other duties as assigned

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Experience with bacterial cultures
- Working knowledge of GMP and/or ISO17025 guidelines
- Or as determined by Human Resources
