**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ability to interpret drawings, work orders, fabrication processes, structural steel, materials, and other documentation associated with production
- Strong mathematical capability and layout skills
- Extensive knowledge of the standard methods, materials and equipment used in the fitting, structural steel trades.
- Knowledge and understanding of the operation of shop tools
- Handle Materials - within the shop and outdoors as required
- Operate Basic Hand Tools and Powered Hand Tools. i.e. Drills, Disc Grinders etc.
- Manually lifting weights between 20-50 lbs.
- Following all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Paying high attention to detail
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and examine work for defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Willing to work overtime, day, afternoon and shift work as required and committed to doing what is necessary to ensure duties are completed.
- Proper precautions, housekeeping and safety upheld at all times
- Performs related duties as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Red Seal Metal Fabricator (Fitter) an asset
- Good attention to detail and results oriented
- Strong sense of teamwork.
- Valid Driver’s License an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Fitting/Fabricating: 3 years (preferred)
