Steel Fabrication Estimator

Responsibilities:

- Prepare complete, accurate and detailed steel bid package proposals.
- Able to review drawings and documentation to generate take offs, outsource purchased items and components, and complete bid summaries.
- Able to review the RFQ documents to understand the scope of work to prepare bid proposal.
- The ability to read construction drawings/specifications and perform take offs.
- A complete understanding of the shop dynamic and processes to prepare a cost-effective bid.
- Work with management in bid closing.
- The ability to work closely and cooperatively with co-workers, subcontractors/suppliers, architects, engineers, owners, general contractors and other business associates to help maintain a quality Standard that Noront Steel is known for.
- The ability to maintain documentation from Bid to project completion.
- To be accountable for own work and support your co-workers.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
