**Position Available: Experienced Veterinary Assistant**
**Key Responsibilities but not limited to**:
- Assisting veterinarian during examinations and procedures
- Assisting with reception duties as needed
- Provide exceptional client care in the most highly professional manner, on the phone and through electronic communication mediums.
- Booking appointments, making call-backs to clients and prospective clients
- Issuing invoices and taking payments
- Assisting veterinarian before, during and after surgeries
- Providing compassionate care and handling of animals
- Administering medications and treatments as directed
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in exam rooms and treatment areas
- Educating clients on proper pet care and nutrition
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 2 year of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant
- Knowledge of basic veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Certification/Diploma as a Veterinary Assistant is preferred
- Must be willing to work Saturdays and Sundays as required

**Salary**: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
