Residential Construction Manager

Regina, Canada Maximus Properties Full time

I run a real estate investment company where the primary focus is to buy single-family homes, fix them up and resell them (flip houses).

I am looking for a construction manager to join my team.

In this role you will:

- Manage 1-4 residential renovation projects at a time.
- Select, price out and order materials
- Hire and schedule Contractors to perform the work
- Track budget and schedule and report back to the Owner
- File receipts and invoices according to established accounting procedures.
- Focus on obtaining quality workmanship and keeping job sites clean & organized
- Have connections with suppliers and quality contractors
- Be able to hire the right contractor for the right job at the right price
- Have good communication skills to deal with contractors effectively
- Have good organizational skills to stay on top of budget and schedule.
- Be able to choose materials, methods, colors, etc to achieve an aesthetically and functionally pleasing design.
- Have experience in residential renovations - someone who is skilled with the tools but is now off the tools, or ready to get off the tools.

Compensation will be salary based with profit sharing - If the project turns out great and exceeds target profits, you will get a share.

Note I am specifically NOT looking for someone to do the actual work. This position is for managing other contractors, making sure things go smooth and good quality workmanship is received for a fair price. The better you are at that aspect of the job - the easier this job will be. Having that said, on occasion you may need to perform small jobs to keep schedule moving along.

This is a contract position, with opportunity to transition to full-time, permanent as the company grows.

Pay: $80,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

**Benefits**:

- Paid time off
- Profit sharing

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Residential construction: 10 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- drivers license (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Application deadline: 2025-06-06
Expected start date: 2025-06-23
