Maintenance Associate

Maintenance Associate (Residential Property) Avenue Living Communities is Western Canada's fastest-growing private rental properties operator, with an expanding presence in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. What You Will Do Manage resident requests and ensure work orders are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner. Provide excellent customer service and develop long‑term relationships with residents. Perform routine and preventive maintenance for building equipment including boilers, HVAC, plumbing, and minor electrical. Complete minor renovations such as painting, drywall, mudding, and taping. Repair exterior doors, hinges, and locks. Maintain a safe and clean job site, identify risks, and complete required training. Document work orders, boiler checks, and snow logs using our systems. Assist with delivery and removal of materials and appliances. Conduct regular inspections of building systems. Be available for scheduled On Call and respond to emergencies as required. Other duties as requested. What You Will Need 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance and repairs in a residential or commercial environment. Technology‑savvy with multiple programs (Yardi, Site Photo, Kronos would be an asset). Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to resident needs. Passion for customer service with strong relationship‑building skills. Must supply own tools and CSA steel‑toed boots. Clean shaven to wear respirator as required. A valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and reliable vehicle. Ability to work outside normal hours and participate in On Call rotation. Must complete and pass a criminal record check.
