**Job Overview**

**Qualifications**
- Journeyman Insulator in Alberta, or a Red Seal Certificate (With proven hours at the Journeyman level).
- Fourth year insulator with over 6,500 hours.
- Confined Space is mandatory.
- Strong commitment to safety. Individuals will be expected to adhere to safe work practices and safety philosophy.
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Must be knowledgeable in various types of insulation used in an industrial area.

**Duties**
- Install insulation in walls, ceilings, and floors according to specifications and building codes.
- Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Apply, remove and repair thermal and acoustical insulation on all types of industrial equipment.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine insulation requirements for each project.
- Select the amount and type of insulation to be installed, as well as confirm the method of ensuring the insulation depending on the specifications of the structure.
- Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in caulking techniques for sealing gaps effectively.
- Experience with drywall installation and finishing.
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in insulation installation.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of building codes related to insulation installation.
- Knowledge in various types of insulation used in an industrial area.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
