Truro Toyota is seeking an experienced and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our service department, representing the Toyota brand, and lead a team of 8-10 dedicated professionals.

This role offers an aggressive compensation package that includes use of a company vehicle.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and inspire a team of highly skilled technicians, service advisors, and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Take charge of the service department's daily operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation, to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
- Uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer concerns, resolving issues, and providing a hospitable and personalized experience.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive departmental growth, profitability, and customer loyalty while maintaining the highest level of service quality.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess departmental performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments, particularly in areas of parts procurement, vehicle delivery, and customer follow-up, to ensure seamless operations and teamwork.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and proactively recommend process enhancements, training initiatives, and equipment upgrades to optimize service efficiency.
- Uphold a safe and compliant work environment, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to occupational health and safety.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within an automotive service department, demonstrating a strong understanding of service operations and repair procedures.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues, and building long-lasting customer relationships.
- Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team, fostering a positive and cohesive work environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, enabling effective prioritization of tasks and resources to meet customer demands.
- Sound financial acumen, including the ability to analyze financial reports, control expenses, and maximize profitability.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on delivering tangible results.
- Valid driver's license.
