**Working Title**: Quality Assurance Specialist

The position of Quality Assurance Specialist focuses on documentation (COAs, certificates, statements, etc) of natural health product raw ingredients. Communication with manufacturers and vendors along with our clients is the main component of day-to-day work. Coordination with labs for raw material testing is required.

**PRIMARY FUNCTION**

Work in teams with sales and purchasing departments to ensure that all raw ingredients purchased and sold are within specifications and supported with appropriate documentation. Prepare documents for clients and coordinate with manufacturers to ensure all raw ingredients are within specification and quality is approved. Work with our third-party testing labs to arrange testing for raw material and document all samples/results.

**JOB DUTIES AND TASKS**

1. Work with purchasing team to approve all raw ingredients coming in from manufacturers and vendors.
- Assist purchasing in quality-related queries while coordinating with manufacturers
- Coordinate with manufacturers on documentation and ensure all incoming raw ingredients have supporting COAs, statements and certificates
- Prepare documents received from manufacturer on Trafa headers and templates

2. Provide clients with COAs and other requested documents for all raw ingredients
- Fulfill customer requests for documentation for pre and post-sale queries
- Provide technical information as required such as testing methods, quality related queries
- Ensure that all documentation provided to clients is logged and up to date

3. Work with third-party labs and clients to issue samples required for testing and RND
- Send samples of raw ingredients to labs for required testing
- Issue client sample requests
- Coordinate and follow-up with labs to ensure all testing is being completed as per request and in a timely manner
- Review and log in all testing results received from labs

4. Other related duties and tasks as required

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCEED**
- BS/BA/MS in Chemistry/Biology/Life Science/Pharmaceutical Science
- 1+ of experience in Regulatory or Quality in the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry
- 2+ years experience in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in testing analytics is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$26.00 per hour
