**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Driver Trainer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for training new drivers in safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance, and customer service excellence. Your expertise will help ensure that our drivers are well-prepared to meet the demands of the job while adhering to industry regulations and company standards.
**Duties**
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new truck drivers, focusing on safe driving techniques and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Provide hands-on instruction in vehicle operation, including the assembly and maintenance of trucks.
- Teach essential skills related to automotive repair, HVAC systems, and electrical components relevant to heavy-duty vehicles.
- Facilitate customer service training to enhance driver interactions with clients and improve overall service quality.
- Evaluate trainee performance through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of training progress and ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with management to develop training materials and programs that align with industry best practices.
**Qualifications**
We are seeking a **Fleet Trainer & Instructor** to deliver classroom, yard, and road training for commercial truck drivers.
**Requirements**:
- Air Brake Instructor Certification
- Techniques of Instruction Course
- Fleet Trainer Course
- Valid AZ or DZ license & clean record
**Responsibilities**:
- Train students in MELT, safety, and compliance standards
- Provide evaluations and coaching
- Maintain training records

- Strong background in automotive repair, HVAC systems, or electrical work is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with trainees and management.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and dealership operations is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during training sessions or vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining training records and documentation.
- A commitment to safety standards and a passion for mentoring others in the trucking industry.
