**Regional - SALES REP / SPECIALIST**

**The Sales Specialist will be responsible for an assigned territory and achieving the client’s objectives as it relates to distribution gains and sales targets the foodservice and independent convenience channel.**

**CANDIDATE REQUIRMENTS**:

- Must be driven to seek out new business opportunities
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter, motivated and energetic
- Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Proven sales techniques
- Ability to work independently, with direction

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Identify sales opportunities and increase distribution of client’s products in the territory according to the priorities and targets
- Analyzing the need of each customer to optimize their sales based on clearly defined objectives
- Participate in various tradeshows (in-person or virtual; may include evening and weekend work)

**QUALIFICATION**
- 3-5+ years of sales experience
- Knowledgeable in food and the foodservice industry and/or retail is an asset
- 2-5+ years of food and or foodservice industry - preferred
- Unlimited access to a vehicle - valid driver’s license
- Competent with office and online technology - Fluent in English
- Passionate, brand savvy Sales Representative (Food/Food Service an asset) Outside Sales Representative - Field Sales Representative
- Previous experience understanding/ with working with brands, lifestyle brands, food brands considered an asset

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Freelance
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kitchener-Waterloo, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Organization Operations & Administrative Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
