This role has flexibility to work both from our Montreal or Toronto offices. In office presence will be required when necessary and is generally expected from Aon leaders.

**What the day will look like**:
**You’ll be leading all aspects of our Personal Lines, our SME Commercial Business units and our Affinity businesses, working closely with the other leaders.**:
Daily responsibilities include:
- Develop the national strategy to drive revenue growth and client retention in Personal Lines and in our SME Commercial business unit.
- Passionate about building partnerships and alliances. Collaborate with Local, Regional and National Management to identify targeted prospects and existing clients based on pre-agreed financial goals and in support of business strategy.
- Lead our teams from Personal Lines, SME Commercial business unit and Affinity, review their performance and results nationally and partner with regional leadership to identify, orchestrate and leverage new market and client service opportunities, and determine causes of underperformance, and take effective correction action steps where objectives are not being met.
- Provide key insights to Marketing and Communications that elevates the Aon brand and supports the delivery of an Aon United vision.
- Influence growth and development in the Small Medium Enterprise unit segment through continuous innovation, client service excellence, underwriting expertise, and a dynamic channel strategy.
- Having in mind to improve efficiencies for our clients and colleagues, this role is crucial to accelerate the digitization of our business.
- Hold oversight for the design and implementation of an efficient and effective operating model, and organizational structure with appropriate controls and processes to enhance revenue opportunities and profit while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**:
- 10 + years’ experience in the Personal Lines/Consumer Products or within the Affinity space, in a leadership role.
- Previous work experience in a direct insurance company is an asset.
- Ability to establish an inspiring vision and lead organizational change.
- Strong knowledge of various digital tools/platforms with success proven track record in digitizing a business is an imperative skillset.
- Proficient with Social Medias
- Professional and effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
- Bilingual by preference (English French)
- Consistent track record of success in designing and implementing growth strategies in Personal Lines, Small Medium Enterprise, and consumer products segments.
- Holistic understanding of the Personal Lines, Small Medium Enterprise segment and Affinity risk solutions/products and a keen sense of curiosity to develop further knowledge of the business.
- Ability to prioritize and leverage resources across the organization (locally, regionally, and globally) to drive business results.
- Financial experience to develop business plans and analyze and interpret business results. Previous P&L ownership is required.
