- **SHIPPING & RECEIVING LABOURER/DRIVER - Main Shop**_
- MUST HOLD - Valid Driver’s License with Air Endorsement.
- MUST be physically able to lift, pushing and pulling, repetitive movement.
- Generally, 10-20% of the job is driving related as required.
- Generally, 80-90% of the job requires twisting, turning, bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, sitting, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act
- Ability to operate mechanical and power vehicles (forklifts/pallet jacks) to load and unload goods.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and damaged goods.
- Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.
- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
- Assist with verification of the picking, packing and shipments process.
- Determine best route for delivery considering weather, time, equipment, and road conditions.
- Perform required pre
- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required paperwork.
- Monitor truck operations
- Represent Manluk in a positive and professional manner while at delivery sites and while driving on the public roadway.
- Address general concerns or questions from customers.
- Fasten chains or binders to secure load on trailer during transit.
- Position block and tie rope around items to secure cargo for transport
- Determine proper approach of delivery considering weather, site, equipment, and customer requests.
- Keep accurate accounts of time and production using time sheets and scanning electronically.
- Provide warehouse support services to Maintenance and Operations as and when required.
- Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse by sweeping floors, removing garbage and recycling materials Ensure that equipment and supplies used in the performance of duties are stored and maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
- Ensure the forklift and other equipment is maintained and is in a safe condition prior to use.
- Ensure the Shipping/Receiving area of the warehouse is secure during the workday.

HOURS: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week

- Wetaskiwin, AB T9A 2P6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
