**Airport Security Agent**

As an Airport Security Agent, you will be a vital part of the airport’s safety and security team, responsible for protecting passengers, staff, and facilities. Your role will involve the implementation and enforcement of aviation security measures to prevent and respond to potential threats.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive screening of passengers, baggage, and cargo using advanced security technologies.
- Monitor airport premises to identify and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams during security incidents and investigations.
- Adhere to and enforce all relevant security protocols, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Operate, inspect, and maintain security screening equipment (e.g., metal detectors, X-ray machines).
- Communicate clearly and professionally with passengers regarding screening processes and security procedures.
- Stay informed on current aviation security regulations, best practices, and emerging threats.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations in coordination with appropriate authorities.
- Conduct routine and random security checks to maintain a high-security presence and deterrent.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required); post-secondary education in a security-related field is an asset.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related discipline preferred.
- Knowledge of security screening procedures and familiarity with screening technology.
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and carry out duties that may involve physical activity.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain all required airport security clearances, including background checks.

Required Certifications
- Valid Security Guard Licence (required)
- Possession of a Red Pass (RAIC) and D/A pass is preferred.

Work Schedule
- Day, Evening, Morning, and Night Shifts
- Monday to Friday, with availability on weekends as needed
