Position requirements:

- Hospitality experience as a server.
- Pro-serve is required
- Possesses a warm, caring, and personable demeanor
- Flexible availability, with a focus on evenings and weekends
- Must be available to work on key holidays, including Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, Mother’s Day, and during Stampede, as well as other designated blackout dates throughout the year
- Previous experience in events or fine dining (serving or bartending) considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team, with mínimal supervision
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Thrives in high-pressure environments
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong communication skills for discussing with colleagues
- Comfortable rapport with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Reliable transportation for late nights
- Knowledge of catering best practices
- Ability to lift 50 lbs

**Duties**:

- Set up rooms & function areas
- Explain the menu to guests
- Assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide suitable assistance when recommending beverages
- Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy
- Set up, service and tear down of venue spaces
- Providing engaging and luxury service to our guests
- Responsible to ensure all our guests leave with a positive experience
- To follow all company policies, procedures and service standards
- Execute all other duties as assigned by the Site Managers, Catering Coordinator or F&B Manager
- Ensuring compliance with federal, provincial or territorial liquor and food safety regulations
- Food safety and preparation skills including an understanding of how viruses and bacteria can spread

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB T2E 6V2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Serving: 3 years (required)
