Entegris in Toronto, Canada is seeking a Production Chemist/Operator to join our team This person will be responsible for manufacturing of chemicals according to predefined procedures and within health and safety operating procedures.

What You’ll Do:

- Proper use and care of equipment.
- Rigid adherence to production specifications and procedures.
- Strict compliance with housekeeping protocol, Health & Safety requirements.
- Ensuring all required documentation is current, complete and accurate.
- Working to improve your skills and those of your colleagues.
- Developing and maintaining thorough understanding of chemicals used in manufacturing, production procedures and underlying chemistry.
- Supporting team members with your sound understanding of safe operations in the plant.

- Enthusiasm for acquiring new skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team communication skills.
- Strict attention to detail at all times (following procedures, documentation, equipment usage, chemical storage/disposal/handling).
- Comfort working in an ethnically diverse working environment.
- B.Sc. degree in Chemistry or college diploma in chemical technology or a related field.
- Experience in a chemical manufacturing plant is preferred..
- Being respectful of team members and forming productive partnerships.
- Scaffolding others and collaborating with colleagues to propose new solutions and implement new ways to add value.
- Demonstrate a safety-first working environment and actively contribute to a safe working environment.
