**Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced **Heavy-Duty Technician/or Apprentice** to join our maintenance and repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, cranes, and specialized rigging equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, braking systems, and electrical components.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and safety checks in accordance with company SOPs and manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Operate tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Work collaboratively with dispatch, operations, and rigging crews to minimize downtime.
- Comply with all safety, environmental, and company policies.

**Qualifications**
- Journeyperson Heavy-Duty Technician or Apprentice.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset).
- Safety certifications such as H2S Alive, First Aid, or WHMIS are an asset.

**Working Conditions**
- Full-time, Monday-Friday with potential for overtime.
- Shop-based with occasional field service work.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $26.85-$48.00 per hour
