Raven Heavy Duty is currently seeking a Trailer Journeyman Technician.

The position is 40 hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with overtime possibilities.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour depending on experience and skills.

**Requirements**:

- Highschool Diploma Grade 12
- Class 5 license **is required**, Class 3 and 1 are considered assets
- Personal toolbox with sufficient trade related hand and power tools. Generally, up to ½” drive tools
- Physically fit and able to safely lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Sitting, bending, laying and standing for long periods of time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, clear communication with our customers is key
- Welding/cutting experience is considered an asset
- Ability to safely and efficiently work alone and with others, respect for safety is paramount
- Able to interpret schematics and manuals proficiently
- Working at heights (servicing trailer lights, vehicle roof access, etc.)
- Bring a positive and constructive attitude, be able to work alone or with a team

Possible tasks:

- Maintain, diagnose and repair all makes and models of trailers. We primarily work on large trucks and trailers but never shy away from other machinery. If the off chance we do not have a trailer in the shop, someone willing to work on other equipment would be an asset.
- Compose accurate and detailed digital service orders, the ability to keep notes throughout the day
- Build hydraulic hose assemblies using crimpers and cutting tools
- Light fabrication and welding
- If applicable, shunting trailers in-yard, and in-city
- Pickup and drop-off of parts from vendors and suppliers
- Other job-related tasks as assigned
