**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintaining positive relationships with local vendors.
- Hiring, training, and supervising new employees.
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Creating employee schedules, ensuring all shifts are covered and adjusting these schedules to accommodate employees when possible.
- Make decisions on all products sold and services offered to maximize station revenue.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers.
- Providing support and training employees in using station technology.
- Plan the station budget and authorize expenses according to this budget.
- Managing customer complaints and overseeing the resolution of these complaints.
- Ensure that all local, provincial, and federal requirements for the lawful operation of the gas station are met by all employees and customers.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
- Create payroll reports (new hires and all employee hours).
- Ensure that safety protocols required for gas stations are followed at all times.
- Plan, organize, control, and evaluate daily operations.
**Job Requirements**
- Gas Station Management: 1 year (preferred).
- Self-motivated, creative and capable of working in a team environment.
- First Aid, WHMIS is an asset.
- Must work independently and productively while handling multiple assignments.
- Must be able to work early morning and overnight shifts.
- Ability to interact with customers, employees and vendors to ensure smooth transactions in a friendly and positive manner.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Capacity for creating schedules and making sure daily responsibilities are met.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and make difficult decisions when necessary while keeping employees motivated and organized.
