**Job Description: Appliance Technician**
We are a family owned appliance service company performing warranty and non warranty repairs on various makes of appliances in the Greater Hamilton Area. We are currently seeking an experienced Appliance Service Technician to join our team. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Salary based on experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Diagnose and repair various household appliances, including refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, washers, dryers and microwaves.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive repairs on appliances.
- Install new appliances and ensure they are functioning properly.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in appliance technology. (Ongoing training provided)
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an appliance technician or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify appliance issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot appliance malfunctions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
**Ongoing Appliance Training Provided**
**Ability to earn monthly bonuses, based on performance**
Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in repairing appliances, including: ranges, refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, microwaves, etc.
Ability to lift up to 60lbs and slide/pull heavy objects.
Ozone Depletion Certified.
G2 Gas License.
G drivers license with a clean drivers abstract.
Ability to read wiring diagrams.
Must be computer and smart phone literate.
Must have own hand tools.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
