**Hey there, Abbotsford**

The time has finally come for **Old Yale Brewing Craft Brewery + Kitchen** in **Abbotsford** to open but we need to fill it with some **Line Cooks **(aka some pretty awesome people)

The Line Cook's principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the Head Chef's exact specifications. The Line cook will work both independently and with the extended Kitchen Team to set up the prep station, stock inventory and maintain sanitation standards. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment and strong multi-tasking skills. The Line Cook plays an essential role in contributing to our customer experience and company growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing and cooking all menu items in accordance with kitchen and brand standards
- Providing assistance stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line
- Food preparation and portioning prior to service
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
- Following and achieving closing routines
- Maintaining all health and food sanitation standards in accordance with Old Yale Brewing safe food handling practices and Fraser Health protection standards
- Maintain high level of food quality
- Putting bulk food orders away in a neat and organized fashion

**Qualifications**:

- Have a love and passion for great food and outstanding craft beer along with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, procedures, and equipment.
- Quickly adapts to fast-paced environments and can accurately execute assigned tasks.
- Ability to read and follow recipes.
- Flexible, dependable and dedicated.
