We are looking for a **General Labourer** for our Mississauga site:
**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**:
The General Labourer will participate in all work on the event site for the dismantling and assembly of various structures and other equipment such as tents, kiosks and decorative light structures.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Participate in the assembly, disassembly and installation of structures and infrastructure at the event site.
- Unpack/pack parts.
- Ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Manage the execution of assigned tasks.
- Set up and tear down of outdoor sites, scenery, paving.
- Prepare and set-up of stage equipment.
- Support the team in other tasks as needed.
- Unload items from containers.
- Additional duties for weather-related protection for the site (E.g., tarping for rain, shoveling snow, preparing for heavy wind.)

**PREREQUISITES**:

- Experience in a similar position is an asset.
- Experience with hand/power tools is an asset
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work outdoors in fairly harsh weather
- Enjoys manual labor
- Able to stand/walk for 6-8 hours a day
- Punctual and resourceful
- Driver's license an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs or more

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
