Project Manager

**About the Role**

As a Project Manager for the Global Technology Operations (GTO) team within Arctic Wolf (AW), you will work with R&D and Product teams to help delivering customer delight by managing and driving agile delivery and managing related communications for strategic GTO Initiatives. This is a hands-on Project Manager role and will include working with the teams to help drive initiatives following agile best practices across the cross-functional teams.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Delivery on customer facing and customer impacting strategic initiatives related to Infrastructure support and services delivery including device refreshes, features and Bug Release management
- Manage communications and cadence. Provide updates covering progress, risks and issues, while managing expectations, and keeping risks and security posture as paramount to internal and external stakeholders and steering committees including GTO, Product, R&D leaders and AW customers
- Work with external customers and internal AW customer-facing teams including GTO, Security Services, Concierge to gather and document customer expectations and requirements to ensure successful deployments
- Work with scrum teams to deliver customer impacting high value features in partnership with Product and R&D teams
- Take lead to proactively identify and eliminate impediments, facilitate flow. Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep Infrastructure operations running at optimal performance
- Create and track project delivery through dashboards and basic analytics, including burnup /burndown and velocity tracking
- Conduct post-mortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity
- Drive excellence in effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities
- Work with GTO and Product Managers to support R&D deliverables into wider go-to-market strategies

AW value a culture of sharing, providing every team the opportunity to share their work with the entire department during the monthly R&D Demos. Once a year the product teams hold a department-wide Hackathon, teaming up across all R&D teams over four days to collaborate and build cool ideas outside the normal project scope. While innovation is the focus, some of these ideas do make it into AW products.

You are a Project Manager who thinks outside the box and energizes others with passion, quality and commitment. Managing projects at Arctic Wolf is not only about driving to deadlines, it is about managing the risks to our projects and customers. We are a fast-moving company and often rely on the project manager to work with teams to build and define the scope of the project. Your skills and experience allow you to:

- Leverage experience to identify potential project risks and proactively mitigate them.
- Proactively establish and manage communications around status, risks and successes to all stakeholders and steering committees where appropriate.
- Manage cross-functional Initiatives and Projects that span between 10 and 30 development teams with multiple milestones and deliverables, and customer impacts needing varied levels of prioritized mitigations.
- Build strong relationships with team leads and developers, related to the projects they lead, including strong relationships with most R&D directors and product managers.
- Maintain a keen focus on continuous improvements for R&D processes to deliver high-value features in partnership with product management
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities

In addition, you have proven leadership experience from previous projects, regardless of title held. You have the required ability to perform project delivery tasks on large engineering projects with independence and expertise. You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring other staff members and will regularly lead technical projects.

This position is based out of Minnesota, US office and will require team members work from our office

Previous security experience is preferred but not required. We provide all the cybersecurity training you need during onboarding and on-the-job training.

**Interview Process**
- Phone Screen: A member of the recruiting team will be in touch for an initial conversation around your work history and an overview of Arctic Wolf
- Manager Assessment: You will meet with the hiring manager for the role. We will review your previous work experience and discuss what project management at Arctic Wolf looks like. We will ask questions related to your ability to perform the role.
- Interviews with the team: You'll meet with several of our team members over the course of two or more interviews conducted remotely over web conference. This is an opportunity to learn more about the specific role and team you will work with
