Baker - 3-4 days a week.
(With potential barista opportunities in future)

JJ Bean Station Square Metrotown (6067 Silver Dr, Burnaby, BC V5H 0J5) is looking to hire a Part time baker.

The position:
The in-store baker is responsible for the following:

- Baking off a variety of cookies, quick breads (muffins, scones, banana bread), granolas, etc..
- Proofing and baking laminated pastries (croissants, danishes, cinnamon buns).
- Ensuring baked goods are prepared to JJ Bean standards.
- Ensure proper rotation of stock (First In First Out).
- Timely ordering for next day's delivery.
- Prep for next day's production.
- Maintaining a food safe kitchen.
- Keeping equipment and tools clean.
- Working in close collaboration with the café manager and supervisors to ensure sufficient stock.

Hours are: 4:30 AM - 12:30 PM Mon-Sun.
Must have a reliable mode of transportation/ability to arrive for early hours.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 40 per week
