**About the role**:
Sunworks Farm is hiring a reliable and motivated Shift Lead to support daily operations at our Calgary Farmers Market locations (CFM West - NW Calgary, and CFM South - SW Calgary). The Shift Lead plays a key role in running the market stall, supporting team members, and providing excellent customer service.

This is an on-the-floor leadership role — the Shift Lead will take full ownership of stall operations during their shifts, with direct reporting to the Calgary General Manager (who is on-site 1-2 days per week).

**Responsibilities**:

- Open and close the store — must be available for both opening and closing shifts
- Act as shift lead and take full ownership of stall operations during assigned shifts
- Lead and support a 2-4 person team throughout the day
- Provide excellent customer service — handle returns, customer complaints, and special requests independently
- Act as point of contact for staff questions and operational issues during shift
- Ensure staff complete closing duties properly
- Manage ordering and inventory
- Handle cash, floats, and complete accurate cash-out procedures
- Train new staff members on daily operations and customer service standards
- Report directly to the Calgary General Manager

**What we’re looking for**:

- Proven reliability — this is a keyholder role with full operational responsibility during shifts
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Previous experience handling cash and supporting a team
- Ability to take initiative and problem-solve on the floor
- Positive communicator with a team-first attitude
- Available to work a mix of opening and closing shifts, including weeke

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 42 per week

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 3 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 3 years (required)
