**Your Role and Responsibilities**

**_ Job Purpose:_**

The Marketing/Communications Specialist at Marwood plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies. With a focus on maintaining brand integrity and delivering cohesive messaging, this position collaborates across departments to drive various marketing initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project completion.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Provide support to Marwood's team and executive staff.
- Promote brand initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
- Coordinate marketing and communications initiatives to ensure consistency.
- Lead graphic design, videography, and animation projects.
- Develop website updates and projects in WordPress and other software.
- Manage social media channels and execute Google and Meta advertising campaigns.
- Conduct market research and provide insights for new marketing initiatives.
- Create and optimize trainings for HR and Health and safety initiatives.
- Develop templates in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Ensure brand consistency across all products and services.
- Communicate and negotiate with promotional partners.
- Monitor competitor activities and make strategic recommendations.
- Analyze potential new products/media for marketing opportunities.
- Coordinate publicity for special events and provide departmental support.
- Occasional travel may be required between Tillsonburg, Ingersoll, and Woodstock.
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**_ Key Requirements_**_:_**
- University/College degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, communications, or journalism, or equivalent.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in graphic design software, web design, and marketing-related tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel VBA, Adobe Suite, WordPress, and related computer programs.
- Exceptional command of English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Ability to absorb new ideas quickly and communicate them effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
