We are currently seeking a Production Manager to lead our plant operations in Manitoba. This role involves providing leadership and implementing organizational strategies to ensure our customers receive products that meet Berger’s high-quality standards. As Production Manager, you will be part of a management team that oversees all manufacturing and field operations for our plants across Canada and the United States.
**JOB SUMMARY**:

- Develop initiatives to achieve performance, quality, and safety standards and goals;
- Promote Berger values in our plants to create a positive and team oriented work environment ;
- Recommend improvements to maximize operations and achieve customer satisfaction while maintaining operating costs and meeting production goals;
- Utilize production management expertise in an automated, fast-paced environment while establishing optimal production schedules and working methods;
- Identify opportunities for growth and development to help employees further their career at Berger; and
- Participate in annual budgeting processes, controls, and forecasts.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in administration, engineering, or any suitable combination of relevant training and experience will be considered;
- 10 to 15 years of leadership experience in manufacturing environments;
- Experience with multi-site management;
- Strong management skills with demonstrated ability to lead teams of people ;
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills;
- Strategic big-picture thinker;
- Ability to travel within Manitoba frequently and outside of Manitoba occasionally;
- French language skills are an asset.
