**Fountain Tire Vancouver - Marine Drive (828 SW Marine Dr) **is looking for a responsible, safe and dedicated **3rd/4th Year Apprentice Automotive Service Technician **to join our team

**Salary: $27 - $33 /hour (based on experience) and you may be eligible for a signing bonus of $2,000**

**What each day will bring**:

- Something different You never know what kind of vehicle or tire you may be required to work on
- Challenging mechanical repairs and diagnosis with excellent guidance from our master technicians to hone and perfect your skills- You could be inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing passenger or light truck tires/wheels
- Everything from tire work to general maintenance to diagnostics to repairs, you'll see it all- Amazing customers to impress with your professional and friendly customer service- The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe- Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road

**What kind of person are we looking for?**
- An Automotive Service Technician Apprentice
- Minimum of 5 years mechanical hands-on experience
- Someone who is always willing to learn and try new things- This work can unpredictable, physical, wet etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge- Able to mount and balance tires of different sizes- Skilled at inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service and repair- Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem solving- Experience and strong awareness of working in a safety-focused environment- Valid driver's license- Strong personal commitment to health and safety- Team player who is professional and organized
