**How You’ll Be Contributing**:

- Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices, ensuring proper approvals and coding, in a high-volume, multi-currency environment
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare and process weekly and monthly payments (EFT, cheques, wire transfers)
- Monitor the AP inbox and respond to internal and external inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations related to accounts payable
- Maintain organized records of all transactions and supporting documentation
- Collaborate closely with both colleagues across all departments and directly with owners
- Ensure compliance with tax rules (GST/HST/QST) and internal financial controls, including tax number validation through the CRA portal

**We’d Love to Hear from You if You Have**:

- 6 months to 3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume, multi-currency environment
- Basic understanding of Canadian tax regulations (GST/HST/QST)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Tecsys Eliteseries or similar)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while contributing actively to a team
- Excellent communication and written skills in French. Strong communications skills in English are additionally required due to the interaction with our global suppliers and other Hagen international office.
