**We are seeking a Full time Security Supervisor in Oakville for one of our reputed client.**

**Position: Site Security Supervisor**

**Reports To: District Manager**

**Location: Oakville**

**Pay Rate: $ 23-25 an hour.**

**Shift: Monday to Friday.**

**Essential Functions**:

- Performs the duties of a Security Guard in accord with post orders and company policy.
- Provides lead direction at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s); acts to ensure that post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that adequate reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
- May counsel and discipline personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents counseling and disciplinary actions.
- Assists in the training of Security Guards and review of post orders.
- Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
- In conjunction with company management or designated company representatives acts to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts.
- Prepares, files and submits various reports as required.
- Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
- Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
- Schedule Security Guards ensuring all posts are covered weekly.
- Follow proper procedure for all matters requiring escalation.
- Conduct foot patrols checking guard posts, doors, windows, data rooms, maintenance areas etc.
- Collect shift activity reports and turn into District Manager for review.
- Ensure all posts are properly staffed.
- Conduct spot remediation training for Security Guards when needed.
- Relieve Security Guards for break/lunch.
- Access control provisions, screening visitors and ensuring visitors follow security protocols. Document and inform District Manager of Security Guards who are not meeting the SOP standards.

**Education/Experience**:

- More than 2.5 years of Security Supervisor experience.
- Experience writing post order is required.
- Experience scheduling guards would be preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Post Secondary education in a related field is an asset.
