Brantford, Canada Hardy Terrace Long Term Care Full time

Damp dusts all furniture in resident and office areas as per routine.
- Cleans bath, washroom fixtures, and cleans isolation room as per routine.
- Cleans long stay, discharge beds and does project disinfecting of beds.
- Dusts and damp mops all non-carpet floor surfaces and baseboards, on routine basis, as well as polish stainless steel and chrome fittings.
- Cleans top of windows, door frames, and all wall hangings.
- Replaces paper supplies in respective dispensers.
- Maintains janitor's closets in clean and tidy condition.
- Removes and hangs drapes and privacy curtains when required.
- Disinfects handrails, surfaces, work stations etc. with supplied products.
- Operates floor polishing machining and steam cleaning equipment, and strips, scrubs, spray buffs and refinishes all non-carpet floor surfaces in the home, when required.
- Vacuums all carpet areas in the home. Remove spots and stains from carpets, upholstery, as they occur and shampoo as needed.
- Assist in moving all furnishings and any personal belongings of residents
- Wash walls, ceiling, lights, vents and insides of windows.
- Picks up and disposes garbage and incontinent pads from waste containers.
- Participates in the home's ongoing fire prevention, pest control, OH&S and infection control programs.
- Completes all required mandatory training/education.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Job Type**: Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-37.5 per week

**Salary**: From $18.11 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
