Corporate Health, Safety and Environment Specialist

**Responsibilities**:

- Empower the management team to understand the obligations, responsibility and how to fulfill their roles in accordance with HSE legislation and ABB Group policy, instructions, and standards.
- Create and maintain an exemplary health and safety culture and a strong environmental focus.
- Interact with stakeholders to raise awareness and commitment to ABB Group's sustainability goals and report on performance and progress.
- Write and present the various executive reports to track the organization's objectives, communicate the results to the various HSE performance parties.
- Report and investigate HSE incidents, gather feedback and communicate lessons learned and best practices.
- Ensure appropriate HSE equipment and tools are available and used, plan training for colleagues and ensure compliance with the group management system.
- Plan and execute HSE, sustainability and corporate responsibility projects, manage resources and provide reports on objectives and progress.
- Facilitate HSE risk assessment, ensuring all processes and corrective actions are implemented.

Your background
- Training in Health, Safety & Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene or other relevant field.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of applicable health, safety, security and environmental laws, standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage complex issues and work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented approach and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in French and English.
