**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and providing excellent customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each sandwich is made to perfection while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards.

**Duties**
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer orders and company recipes.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meets health and safety regulations.
- Slice and package meats and deli items for customers and catering orders
- Operate and maintain meat and cheese slicers
- Keep deli showcase, clean, tidy and well-presented.
- Operate the POS system for processing customer transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to all customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations, required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with cashiering, including operating POS systems, is beneficial.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed in the deli.

Pay: $15.20 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
