Project Scheduler- Construction

Brampton, Canada Struct-Con Construction Ltd Full time

Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain baseline schedules.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software (MS Project)
- Develop and maintain whole lifecycle project schedules which reflect the strategy of the Project Delivery Team with clearly defined critical paths, interfaces and external dependencies.
- Update schedules with actual progress and forecast remaining durations, key milestone dates and completion and handover dates.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Conduct regular meetings to review project schedules and address any concerns or changes.
- Provide support and guidance to project teams regarding scheduling best practices
- Develop a full understanding of project scope, project requirements and contractual documents.
- Understand construction methodology, track access requirements and constraints, interfaces and third party obligations.
- Prepare delay analysis, critical path analysis and other performance reports and present them to the project delivery team in their regular progress meetings.
- Analyze schedule progress and performance, identify potential risks, issues and problem areas and facilitate their resolution.

Qualifications:

- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in project scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, project management or related technical field.
- Previous experience in project management or scheduling is preferred

**Salary**: $46,677.28-$72,000.00 per year
