**Job Posting Title**:BuildingAutomation/ Controls Technician Senior position.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform verification of the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems related to the BAS.
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot low voltage power equipment and systems, network communications, end devices, peripherals, DDC controls, valves, actuators, relays, and sensors as part of the commissioning process.
- Installation of low voltage control systems including but not limited to conduit, wiring, end device installation, terminations, control panel fabrication, and wire/controls tagging.
- Calibrate electrical or electronic equipment and instruments according to technical manuals and written instructions.
- Generate graphics, controls design, and shop drawings utilizing Visio Studio.
- Commission BAS systems, end-to-end verification and report any anomalies by utilizing provided commissioning tools and resources.
- Utilizing software, to simulate a sequence of operations to verify the proper operating parameters of systems and their performance.
- Familiarity with (**Text base and Table block programming)** is a **Must** have.
- Complete all required commissioning documentation, maintaining accurate as-built drawing packages and markups.
- Responsible for setting up and configuring the server and/or operator workstations with all associated software.
- Review design documentation and specifications, identify control strategies, discuss energy consumption impacts, and ensure strategies are met from the Project and design stage.
- Comfortable demonstrating the system to end users and consultants.
- Familiar with all aspects of the mechanical and hydronic system.
- Attending service calls as required to diagnose and solve customer BAS issues.
- The above duty will change from time to time based on the project's requirements.
- Provide daily updates to the Supervisor or Divisional Control Manager.
- Travel may be required for out-of-town projects. Mainly Vancouver Island, or Okanagan Valley.
**Qualifications**
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, typically at least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls. Technical School or formal training is preferred.
- Being familiar with the **Schneider Electrical EBO **BMS system is highly preferred.
- Being familiar with **Schneider Electrical Control 360** design tool systems is highly preferred.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software, SQL, etc.
- Operating knowledge of IT network architecture (such as Ethernet switches, firewalls, port forwarding etc.
- Must possess a valid BC driver’s license for a minimum of 1 year, with no prominent or frequent traffic violations included.
- Passing a criminal record check is a must-have.
- Previous experience with the DDC controls system is a must.

Pay: $22.50-$65.00 per hour
