As a Dietary Aide, you will assist in food services of the facility. You will work closely with the care team to help create a positive experience for our residents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and has a passion for contributing to the well-being of others.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in accordance with their dietary needs and preferences.
- Ensure food is served in a safe, hygienic manner.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist with setting up meal trays and deliver them to resident rooms.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar support role, preferably in a long-term care or healthcare setting.
- Valid food safety certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform light lifting and physical tasks, such as moving laundry and food trays.
- Ability to follow dietary and safety protocols in food preparation and cleaning.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.34 per hour

- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Campbell River, BC V9W 4H4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
