**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
The Pharmacy Technician works with pharmacists, nurses, physicians and other health professionals to achieve a high standard of drug distribution for inpatients and outpatients.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:

- Regulated Technician Status in good standing with Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Related work experience in a hospital setting would be an asset

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic techniques, hospital pharmacy practice and pharmacy dispensing.
- Excellent working knowledge of generic names and pharmacological classification of drugs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of drug distribution and record keeping.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate concentrations, dilutions and quantities to compound products.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and use good judgement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients, co-workers, nurses, physicians and
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Intermediate computer skills and accurate data entry skills.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm, initiative and a high level of quality and attention to detail in a previous work experience.
