**Role and Responsibilities**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
- Identify, analyze, document and report software defects
- Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery
- Conduct software compatibility tests
- Create and review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy
- Create and maintain database of known test defects
- Participate in product design reviews
- Provide feedback and recommendations on usability and functionality

**Qualifications and education requirements**
- Familiarity with Software Development/Testing life cycles (SDLC/STLC)
- Proficient knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL queries, and stored procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for communicating complex technical issues to both peers and non-technical staff verbally and in writing
- Exceptional customer focus - understanding the needs of the internal and/or external customer and keeping them in mind when taking actions or making decisions
- Analytical thinking - acquiring understanding of a problem or situation by breaking it down systematically into its component parts and identifying the relationships between these parts
- Strong time and task management skills
- Experience in the Travel and Accommodation industry considered an asset
- Bilingual considered an asset (Mandarin, French, Spanish)
- Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Quality assurance: 2 years (preferred)
- Software Quality Assurance Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
