Niagara Rubber Supply Inc. is a gasket manufacturer and parts distributor of industrial rubber, hose, matting, o-rings, high temperature gasket materials, and fabricator of custom parts.

As directed by supervisor, employees are responsible for the accurate fabrication and assembly of all products that are put through our production facility, with a focus on high quality and accuracy of orders.

There is a requirement to work with your hands, be physically fit, long periods of standing, use hand tools and some power tools to cut parts, measure, weigh, read blueprints and drawings.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Duties Include (but are not limited to)**:

- Order entry - customer service, answering phones and assisting customers with their questions.
- Use of EXCEL and most Microsoft Office programs. Good understanding of computer use and inventory control
- Use of press machines, hand cutting material as required
- Shipping and receiving of parts and materials, assist with logistics of loading/unloading and packing of skids and maintaining quality and accuracy of goods
- Stock and maintain inventory and various general labour tasks to aid in the production and fulfillment of orders
- Read and interpret work orders, templates, blueprints or process specifications
- Sort parts, remnants, and other materials
- Clean work areas, common areas, as well as maintain equipment and tools
- Follows all safety policies including wearing appropriate safety attire at all times
- Operate appropriate manufacturing and fabrication tools as required to complete assigned tasks
- Follow direction from supervisor and all other duties as assigned

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- carpentry/woodworking experience an asset
- Ability to read and interpret work orders/blue prints
- Ability to read and interpret measuring utensils
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical strength and stamina
- Mathematical and mechanical aptitude
- Computer skills required
- G class license and clean abstract required

**WORK CONDITIONS**
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate hand tools
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Lifting of supplies and materials up to 40 lbs
- Operations of presses and power tools

Pay: $42,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
