**About The Role**:
Reporting to the Lead Hand or designate, the Hydrocarbon Extraction Technician is responsible for safely and efficiently performing hydrocarbon extraction, meeting quality levels and following SOPs.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform extractions using hydrocarbon (butane & propane).
- Perform post-processing and clean-up of extracts.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on extraction instrumentation and other equipment.
- Meet timelines and quality expectations.
- Perform basic calculations.
- Work with the QA team to assess the quality of extractions.
- Document output and waste.
- Maintain organized documentation of data and batch production records.
- Assist other departments as necessary.
- Potential for Ad hoc projects.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of two years of experience in various extraction methods preferred.
- Fire safety and hazardous material safety knowledge.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Diligent record-keeping.
- Ability to perform tedious tasks.
- Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to perform basic calculations and assess mathematical-based data.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization.
- Must be willing to work the night shift.
- Must be 19 years of age or older.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
